WILL DELIVER!

“ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:19).

Avoid looking at the sorrows always and instead look at the hand of God which could deliver you from all sorrows. Do not look at the sorrows which flow like wave after wave. Look at the power of God with which He rebukes the waves and makes them silent. During the time of distress do not run behind men seeking their counsel. Look at the powerful promises which God has given you.

Has not God said the following? “In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” He will surely command victory for you. All the problems which look like mountains will disappear like snow by the power of God.

There was a sister who was blind. Her husband had deserted her. She was left to live alone with her daughter. Further, she had been greatly troubled by factors like the struggles of the evil spirit, non-stop headache, non-stop discharge of tears from the blind eyes and so on.

In this situation, a wonderful evangelist met her. He earnestly prayed for her, cast out the devils one by one from her and led her towards God. Divine peace and joy occupied her heart. Those diseases and sickness disappeared from her within a blink of an eye.

Not only that. God elevated her as His servant and also gave her the gift of prophecy. God did countless good things in the life of that sister. Dear children of God, He will deliver you from all sorrows. Against the days of sorrows and sufferings you experienced, you will definitely be provided with days of comfort and peace. The present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed on us.

The sorrows you come across for the sake of God will be a great blessing for you. Jesus said, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me” (Mathew 5:11).

Sorrows will bring you blessings and make heaven approachable. When you walk through that path of tribulation, God will pour His grace immeasurably on you. It was only to strengthen you He walked on the path of tribulation while on earth. Is it not? So, He is powerful to help you. Dear children of God, ensure that the sorrows do not frustrate you. Get strengthened in God.

To meditate: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword? .....Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:35, 37).
